🍽Chef-Influencer Leticia Moreinos Schwartz Takes New York Virtual

by Fey🇬🇾🇬🇧🇳🇬🇺🇸 @pinkpurseintl

Fresh from the snap of another pandemipocalypse Autumn, this time the Big Apple food scene is #vaxxed, back, and biting, baby—and so is New York/Connecticut-based chef, author, journalist, TV host, healthy lifestyle influencer, and American Diabetes Association Ambassador (*whew!!!*), Chef Leticia Moreinos Schwartz! Life has only sped up for her in the matrix since our interview here, which was hot on the heels of her role in the stirring, Viola Davis-narrated, Merck documentary A Touch of Sugar, and the release of her critically-acclaimed third cookbook, Latin Superfoods (affiliate link).

Since then, the trilingual, Brazilian-born, French Culinary Institute-trained whiz—who honed her chemistry skills in prestigious kitchens like Le Cirque and La Grenouille—has been mixing things up, with tv appearances such as Netflix’s Best Leftovers Ever!, and projects like her wildly popular, international virtual cooking classes. With a corporate and individual client roster that reads like a who’s who across the industries (did someone say Google and Cisco? I think you did), her multilingual virtual cooking classes (English, Spanish, Portuguese👏) have been showing even the most stove-shy of home/office chefs how to whip up succulent, restaurant-quality, healthy fare—and intensify the special bonds with their loved ones and colleagues while doing so.

I caught up with my high-energy, South American🌎 sister from another mister (and wife and mum of 2! *Whew* to the fourth power!!), for an update on her virtual cooking endeavour, and here’s what she said:

“I am quite surprised at the efficiency of virtual cooking classes, and how there is a whole other side of cooking at home, with each person in the comfort of their own kitchen. We get to see a part of people’s lives that you don’t get in the old fashioned, in-person classes. People are coming together, over virtual celebrations like cooking classes, and it’s a wonderful way to engage and interact—even if it’s virtual. That is a big silver lining in this pandemic! I am connecting with so many people from all over the world, via my virtual cooking classes! Loving every minute, every class, and every recipe!!”🧚🏽‍♀️
