#TheQuarantineChronicles: Trending Urban Contemporary Artist, Akaimi Davis

by Fey
Every artist has a secret. During our recent 2020 #Covid19Quarantine, Akaimi Davis, https://akaimidavis.com and her fellow contemporary artists in various cities around the nation—and the globe—posted a catching #dontrush challenge video, from the belly of self-isolation in their homes. The upbeat vid highlighted the talents of independent artists and encouraged the support of their works during the tandem, globally tough economic season. But not everyone’s lives on that video read the same.

WOPH learns what self-isolation in a pandemic, under the threat of serious pre-existing conditions, was like for that vid’s San Antonio-based artist.
